Security
A large sliding gate that opens to a large parking area provides access to the property. The dining area of the finca is directly accessible through the main, old wooden doors.
Traditional Architecture
There’s a twin bedroom with wood panel walls and a high ceiling facing you, as well as a Balinese tiled bathroom with a stone bath.
Moving left from the dining room, you’ll find a contemporary kitchen diner with a creatively repurposed ancient farm thresher for a kitchen table and a beamed ceiling that keeps the Ibicenco vibe.
The front of the house is accessed through the original thick oak doors. A quaint communal seating area sits next to the kitchen and is ideal for unwinding with a pre-dinner beverage while the meal is being prepared.
Another twin bedroom and the original stone staircase leading to the first floor are located to the right of the dining area.
Cool Layout
Head up the steep stone staircase to Villa Daniel’s first floor, which has an equally intriguing layout. Perfect for escaping the harsh midday sun, a central chillout/sitting area is surrounded by three bedrooms.
The first bedroom is a rustic double room with original paneled wardrobes, stripped floors, and a circular, sunken shower with a glass wall that looks out onto the garden. A curtain is included for extra privacy. There is a bathroom with a toilet that is adjacent.
Mezzanine
The second bedroom has two twin beds on a mezzanine level above a small sitting/dressing area, and the bathroom is a stone affair with a Balinese stone washbasin and a pebble-floored shower.
Another double bedroom with a four-poster bed, a private balcony with views of the garden, and an adjacent Balinese-tiled bathroom are located at the far end of the sitting room.
Annexes
There are two more external annexes on Villa Daniel’s grounds. The first is next to the kitchen and has an attached bathroom and three single beds.
The second annex has two four-poster twin beds, attractive exposed stone walls, a newly installed modern shower room with a toilet, and is situated behind the outdoor dining area on the opposite side of the pool.
Garden, Pool & BBQ
At Villa Daniel, the garden is a great place to gather with friends and family. It has a large pool, sun loungers, and a daybed set with shade made of wood and bamboo. `
Near the brick-built barbecue and next to the pool is a long table and benches under a Balinese wooden canopy roof, perfect for long, lazy lunches or evening poolside dining.
